kinda hard to TTC - Trying to Conceive (TTC) Message Board

I am not giving up completely but I seem to have run into a few road blocks and I feel it is best for me to take a break in a way and not try so much. I am still going to make sure that I O every month and keep track of my cylce. I have to go to the hospital Monday for an Hsg test if they are fine then we go to my oddly acting prolactin levels and try and get them fixed. but here is my problem and the reason I am call TTC off for a while. Dh has took a new position at work and he is gone Monday-Friday he comes in late on frid. so it is kinda hard to ttc on the weekends only. Considering his extremely low sperm count and poor swimmers and not having days off to go to the dr. the odds are starting to look against us pretty bad. But you know this could be teh break that we need.
I will always be on here no matter what.I wish you all BFP so TONS OF BABY DUST TO ALL OF YOU!!!

I understand where your coming from. The thing is this is life and lots of people are experiencing the same types of difficulties as you. Not long after me and my husband decided to start trying again he was sent to iraq for 7 months, its sods law! I don't think that theres anything wrong with my DH sperm but i am the one with the problem, i'm so irregular and never know when to time it. I don't know if you and your husband feel the same but my husband was finding it a bit pressurising having to perform all the time but now that we've discused it we've decided to take the heat off a bit and do it every other day or 2-3 times a week. Maybe if you talk to your DH you could work somthing out. good luck with trying.

First of all good luck for you hsg on Monday hope that you ll have good news to share with us after.

If you know when you ovulate there will be certain days when it with fall on week ends. Also can t you organise to go and see him during the week and maybe stay over a night here and there during your fertile days. I am sure that some how or another you will find a solution and you ll make it.

I am not really stressing about any of it. If it is ment to be it will happen. When he goes out of town he is with other guys and they share the hotel rooms to save on expenses. I do know when I O so maybe we will get lucky and it will be on one of the weekends he is home.

I hope it all works out with the hsg I am kinda nervous about it I really don't like hospitals and drs. I guess it is more of the fear of the unknown.
