need advice..is this implantational bleeding? - Trying to Conceive (TTC) Message Board

Hi ladies..I'm needing some advice any would be appreciated..My hubby and I have been ttc for 2 years..we already have a 3 y/o son..My last period started May 16 and was my normal length..3 -4 days..My ovulation days were may 26 to June 1..we had sex on the 27, 29, and June 1..on June 3 I had some heavy spotting..I call it my mini period..lasted only 1 full day a little overnight and a little the next day..today June 10 I had a little spotting..the past few days I have been exhausted, sick feeling, crampy, cranky, and just not feeling right..my period should start thursday so I'm hoping I'm preggo and not just having pms..I've never spotted between cycles before so I was thinking it was implational bleeding (hoping it was)..anyone have any advice or ideas as to what is happening? I'm really hoping to be preggo and not be suffering from bad pms..thanks for reading!

so I took a preg test..it was negative..starting yesterday and today I've had a lot of brown discharge (sorry if tmi)..last time I saw my obgyn about my problems getting pregnant and how my periods would sometimes be heavy and clotty or out of whack after ttc..she said something about how my body could have been terminating a pregnancy before I knew I was pregnant..has anyone heard of this? or had it happen to you?

I have never heard of that but unless your dr. takes a blood test to confirm if you were pregnant then I would not take what she said as truth. Take a blood test and see what it says. If you were pregnant it should show but you have to get it done NOW. You said that you had bleeding after sex when you ovulated, could this have been because sex was vigorous? Sometimes is does happen. Also women do spot during ovulation as well. You said it was heavy spotting which i would have to say that the dr. shoudl be told and testing done to see why your period isnt normal. If you question this dr. then get a 2nd opinion as well. Spotting isnt normal either way in my opinion and dont assume you are pregnant because of what this dr. said. How rude of htem to say that knowing you are trying to conceive. You have to have a blood confirmation to say that sort of thing. If it did show you were pregnant and you miscarried then that shoudl be recorded for your history but good Lord why would that dr. say that if he/she wasnt going to draw blood to confirm it? sheesh

good luck and call dr. and make an appt and find out what shoudl be done.
