Newbie to Clomid - Trying to Conceive (TTC) Message Board

recently my gyn prescribed clomid 50mg for cd 5-9. i have been reading a couple of ttc boards and web pages trying to gather some ideas. some women are saying not to count spotting as part of you cycle in regards to starting clomid. instead wait start couting when there is an actual flow. is this true?
please help so i don't miss the boat!!!!

personally I didnt spot too often. When i spotted it would be a prelude to the full flow coming that day.

What did your dr. tell you to do? If your dr. said not to count spotting I think it all depends on how much spotting you usually do.

Please be aware that Clomid causes side effects. DH and i read what they were and made a sheet of what they were and when i had one we checked it off. Laughing all the way, since people said that clomid makes you angry, we tried to look at it in a different light and try laughter to get through it. We only needed it once for 2nd child(1st child from different person) when we used IUI. I did it the first cycle wiht just sexual intercourse and it didnt work but next month was with clomid and IUI nad it worked. (very unusall that it worked first time with IUI) then for 3rd we did 4 cycles with clomid/iui and man i was so angry and flushed all the time but we laughed through it. I had to go to injectables and that was hell but only one time with that injectable drug and IUI and I was pregnant with 3rd. 4th was on my own.
