how long should i wait after miscarriage/ stillbirth
i found out four weeks ago that my twins didnt have a heartbeat. and delivered them i was 19 weeks. how long should i wait before trying again? i want to but then really dont just because i am scared but also 2 weeks ago "things happened" with my husband and i and i am feeling weird again... like when i first got the hint that i was pregnant with my twins... the same thing is happening, im throwing up at night im tired and hungary all the time, everything is sensitive. Also could it just be my body dealing with the trama of everything... im also conserned because would my hormones be back to normal so if i took a pregnancy test and it was positive would it be true? what should i do. Im sorry alot of questions there Thanks though.

I had a m/c at 14 wks and the dr. told me that I had to be careful after the D&C because you can get pregnant right away. He said its best to wait until your first AF so that you have a LMP date to calculate a due date. The level of HCG in your body would still show up pos on a pg test, even if you werent. What I was told was that once your HCG levels go back to zero, you will O and then AF comes. Sometimes it takes people months to get their first AF after a traumatic event like this. I would definitely call a dr. if you are still feeling icky and no AF shows up....chances are, you might be PG again!!

well i took a pt and it showed up negative. so i dont know if it is really true or if it could just be to early to show... im disappointed because i let myself get excited and it showed up negative but then kind of relieved to because its better if i wait i guess.

I read your post on th M/c bvoard and ui am so sorry anout your loss.
I had a m/c last August and i was told to wait 2 cycles before TTC which i did.
However i know many people who did not wait and went on to have healthy babies.
I think it depends on how you feel ......make sure you are emotionally and physically ready.

well i had my appointment on tuesday where i was supposed to find out the autopsy reports, and they werent ready... i had to drive two hours away on top of not sleeping the night before from worry. i just want everything to be over.. but not only were they not ready the doc. was trying to tell me all this stuff that made no sense just so they wouldnt look totally bad... he told me that both twins were girls but when i had them they told me boys...and then when i said that to him, he said that it wasnt a hundred percent sure yet since they werent done with it. well then why tell me? also he told me to wait 6 months befor ttc and at the least 4..i asked him what makes how long you wait for and he said there is nothing that says this is how long its just all in how you feel and also he said i am young so i should be fine. also my body is back to normal i think cuz i just got my first mp today. so i dont know. i am leaving it in the hands of God. if i am meant to get pregnant now i will and if not whever He is ready. But i am just so frustrated. and my poor husband has been taking my moodswings so well and i feel bad because i find myself yelling at him for no reason and then i just cry i am hoping everything will go back to normal now with getting my mp.

Hello. I am so sorry for your loss, and I know how you feel. I lost my son May 6, 2007. I was 20 weeks along and I had oligohydramnios (extremely low amniotic fluid) My waters broke, well leaked at 18 weeks, and they had to induce me, but unfortunately he was still too small. Anyway, my doctor told me to wait at least 3 cylces before ttc again.
