Ovulation tests... - Trying to Conceive (TTC) Message Board

I bought ovulation tests... 7 in a pack.. since my cycle can be anywhere from 30-36 or 37 days long, my dr. suggested this to help... this month, hubby and I were not careful but I think we tried when I may have been close to ovulating... anyone try ovulation test?

You know I just literally bought a pack today... a little annoyed because the only one my store had was a darn 20 pack... is that extensive or what? wouldn't be so bad, but apparently once you open the tube they're only good for 30 days. Argh

No positive yet, but from what I read if you go for it the day you get a postive, the day after and if you feel like it the day after that you've got a pretty good shot! We'll see...

That is what my Dr. said. He said try that day and the next...he said if I don't do the ovulation test that I should try from days 12-22, every other day.. I figure, I want to get preg. as soon as I can so why not try this - ya know..
yeay 20, that is alot... mine had 7 which is not that many though... but worse comes to worse, I buy another pack but it si $40 a pack..expensive...... good luck!!!!! If I am not preg. this time, then I prob. won't be trying to end of Aug. beg of sept....

I haven't started ovulating just yet... I expect it'll happen this weekend, which is why I got the set actually - because my husband is out of town Thurs - Monday, so I have hope if I ovulate either Friday-Sat, We may still have a shot if we give it a go thursday morning before he leaves LOL.

Oh I hate all this obsessing

I hear ya.. good luck....

I know... we were just not careful this time... due around 20th aug. for next AF so after that I should ovulate early sept. or so...ahhhhh that will be our real first month TTC... i am nervous....
