| Re: TTC second baby
I am working on baby #2, also. Coming off b/c may mess up your first few cycles. Not every woman is the same, but the typical leutal(sp) is 14 days. This means there is 14 days from the day you ovulate to the first day of your period. So, if your cycle is 28 days, then you ovulate on day 14, 29 days is on day 15, and so on. Some women have symptoms of ovulation, some don't. There are several ways to keep track of it. I haven't done this, but charting your bbt (basil body temperature) is one way to track your ovulation. I can tell by my cervical mucus. If it is thick, white, and stretchy, you are in a fertile phase. Also, it isn't accurate, but sometimes cervical position is a sign of ovulation. You may be in a fertile phase if your cervix is low and open.
After sex, lie flat or with your legs up in the air for at least 20 minutes. Sexual positions where women are dominant (on top) make conception a little harder due to gravity, but not impossible. From what I have read, missionary position is the best because the penis gets closer to the cervix.
GOOD LUCK!
