Question about luteal phase? - Trying to Conceive (TTC) Message Board

Just wondering if this ever has happened to any of you ladies.......
My cycles are 26-27 days in length. I just started temping (last month) and I o'd on day 13 ... which would mean my luteal phase is 13-14days right? Anyway - this month AF arrived on CD23.... so that is only a 10 day luteal phase... how could that happen? My cycles are always the same, and I was excited about this being "the" month, so imagine my suprise when I started 3-4 days early! The only other time I was early I had a chemical pregnancy.....Any insight ladies?

Were you on BC or had any other changes? When I went of BCP, my first cycle was 22 days when I was usually 28-29 days. Was it a regular period? Are you sure it wasn't implantation bleeding? Implantation is usually 7-10dpo.

I stopped bc pills a year ago and that first month it was a short cycle, but not since then. I really don't think it is implantation (trust me if there was a way link it ... I would find it!) it is lighter than my regular af, but its still bright red which I thought meant af.

I don't know.....

I woudn't worry about it, stress can cause your cycle to mess up. If you find that your LH phase is staying at 10 days or lower, then I would talk to you DR. about it.

so not to be mean, but im confused as to why you made 2 threads asking the same exact thing??
