My period started on November 9th of this month, to my calucations i should be ovualting somewhere between November 20th - November 24th. Does anyone know how you can tell when you are ovualting? I know you only ovualt one day so I'm alittle courious. It 23 years old if anyone needs to know that.

Here are a few ways to tell. You can track your basal body temp (BBT). This is your temp first thing in the morning. Once you get a spike, you will be ovulating. Also when you ovulate, you get egg white cervical mucus (EWCM) which is like raw egg white and is very stretchy. You can stretch it 1 inch+. You can also check your cervical position. When you ovulate, your cervix is high and soft.

That was helpful but i am still confused, never done anything like this before. How do you check your basal body temp, is that your regular temp? by just a regular thermomature? and the EWCM is that somthing i will see?

BBTs, CM and you can try ovulation predictor kits, too.

BBT is taken by a thermometer usually specific to ovulation tracking, its called a basel thermometre or ovulation thermometer. You take your temp every morning at the same time and record it on a graph ( there are many sites that you can do this online which takes out alot of the guesswork.) Also you have to make sure that you take you temp before getting out of bed. As far as EWCM is concerned most women need to scrape their finger along the inside of vaginal wall to see it as it usually sits up around the cervix. Hope this helps.
