HSG with no insurance??? - Trying to Conceive (TTC) Message Board

Can anyone tell me a ballpark how much it cost if you don't have insurance and you're private pay?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!
I had a Reversal August07 and just wanting to make sure my tubes are open and scar tissue hasn't developed.My RE said they don't do one unless you are 6months TTC after Reversal.

Please Help!

I just looked at my EOB's from when I had mine and the total was around $700. I'm not sure if that included my doctors fee - he came to do the test at the radiology center. But, my EOB for that date of service was around $700.

You can probably call the place where you want to get it done and ask them. They may be able to give you a ballpark estimate.

Thanks! It did help! We know it's gonna be pretty expensive. I guess that's why my RE said we should wait until I do 6cycles. But I'm just so anxious that I want to make sure they are open. We paid 5500 for the TR out of pocket. I just want to make sure it was worth it. Bc my DH wanted to try IVF but I wanted to try the the regular way just to have the whole experience.

But thank you for your input! I'm gonna stick this out and pray REALLY hard!

Wow..that's crazy expensive. How many cycles have you gone through so far? It probably feels like 6 will take forever, but it'll be here before you know it!
I hope everything is all clear for you and you guys can go au natural! I'm a pretty big fan of things naturally happening, too.
