Light bleeding. AF not till April 7th. Implantation? - Trying to Conceive (TTC) Message Board

Here goes...DH and I bd'd on March 22nd and 24th. I ovulated on March 24th, then began spotting on March 30th. I spotted (light pink/brown for two days, but after a BM it was bright red, though still very light). Just yesterday (April 2nd) I woke up with a greater amount of blood on my underwear (though still light and not like AF). AF is expected to arrive on April 7th.

I temped and it was still elevated at 98.3, so I'm not sure what to think. What I've read about implantation bleeding makes me think if it were implantation bleeding, it would be MUCH lighter than it is.

Anyone have any experiences with having light bleeding prior to AF only to find out they are pregnant?

Wow, I sure hope it is implantation bleeding! Good luck and hope you get a BFP in the next week!

Thanks, h19...I hope so too! I stopped the actual light bleeding yesterday morning, the 4th, and have since had very light brownish discharge. Keeping my fingers crossed...

Implantation can occur 6 days after ovulation, so it is quite possible it was implataion bleeding. Good luck!!!!

Just an update. I ended up getting AF on April 5th. However, I normally wear super tampons for 2-3 days during my period, and I've been wearing the "lites" tampons through the entire thing. I did take a pregnancy test on Monday, which was negative. I was sick from Sunday-Tuesday with nausea and diarrhea. My temps have stayed up since AF started, but that could be because I've had a touch of the flu. All in all, this period has been really weird and I still feel queasy. I'm sure I'm not pregnant, but it's so hard not to hope!!
