Hi,

I am visi. I am 30 yrs old and married. We are now planning to have a child. We started trying since few months now. Till now we couldnot succeed, she is not yet conceived.

May I know what is the best time to get conceived. If I ejaculate inside her, when do we come to know that she is pregnant.

Also, Can she get pregnant if I ejaculate once ? Or are we supposed to repeat until she is conceived ?

What are the symptoms to know that she is pregnant.

Please help.

a women typically has a 28 day cycle with the first day of her period being day 1 you want to begin having sex on day 10 and do it everyother day. Have her lay on her back after your done so that all of the sperm dont run out right away and continue to have sex everyother day in till around cycle day 16. sperm live up to 4 days in the womens body and the goal is to have the sperm waiting when the egg is released.

Actually the 28 day cycle is just an average and most women dont fall on it totally. Best bet is start counting the first day of her period as day 1. Around day 10 starting having sex every day or every other day. Continue that til about day 20 to day 22 or even past that say til she starts her next period or you get a + hpt. The reason I say that is if she falls in the area of having a longer cycle you stopping at day 16 you can easily miss her fertile time. Take me for example. I dont O til day 19 and my cycles tend to last 34 days.
Another thing is she should get the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility and read it.
Make sure your both are living as healthy as possible. You should avoid hot tubs,tight pants and underwear,too much use of a bicycle and so on. Also make sure she is taking prenatal vitamins.
