I'm getting very frustrated! - Trying to Conceive (TTC) Message Board

I am starting to feel like my body is failing me! I know I have not been TTC for very long, (8 months), but with no AF....it is hard to stay positive. I have only had one AF in 8 months, and happened to be away for work when I ovulated...go figure!! (I go away for work once a year!!) I am envious of those in their 2WW, (as crazy as that sounds). I am wanting so badly to have a normal AF, so that we can give it an honest effort! I feel like we are bd'ing all the time, but we are getting no where because of my missing AF! My doctor's appointment is not for another month....this is so frustrating! I am feeling so down...CD108

I'm so sorry you are going through these problems. CD108 that's awful. I can understand how you must be feeling so blue. Have your af's always been like this or is a recent thing? is this the first time you'll be seeing a doctor about it? or have you had problems in the past.
I know it's difficult, but just believe it will be sorted out in time, believe that and it will help you get through it.

My AF's were regular before I went on the pill and while I was on the pill. During that time (around 7 years), my cycle must have changed. I have now been off the pill for around 8 months, and have only had one AF.

I have seen the doctor once already, and he said to wait until it had been 6 months. So now I am just waiting for my next appointment....but the wait is a little long, they are so busy.

That;s awful. Poor you, one consolation though it that your nearing the end of the six months now and not starting off at the beginning of it. Another consolation is that you have had an af, I know it was 108 days ago, but an af is an af. I haven't heard of that problem before, but it must be common enough if the doctor suggested waiting six months, it must happen.

As I said before, hard as it is, try and keep your spirits up and believe that this will all come good. Who would have thought we'd be facing all these trials and tribulations on this ttc journey.

Hey girl. I really don't have much advice because I haven't had any problems w/ AF coming. But I wanted to tell you that you're in my prayers. I have only been trying, this go around, for 2 months so far, but I really do sympathize with those who have been doing this so long. I know it must be hard, but you have to stay positive. Don't stress out about it. They say that stress can't make your AF late, but it can cause you to not ovulate which in turn means no AF. So try not to stress because it can affect your cycle. I work w/ a girl who is young and healthy and went off bc and is now on cd70ish I think. I know how hard it is trying to keep TTC from consuming your life though, and I wish you luck. Hugs, hugs, hugs!!
