Well that depends it could be you havent been trying that long and she knows it so tells you everything is ok. So how long have you been trying? What is your age? Are your cycles regular? Have your read the book Taking Charge Of Your Fertility? Have you charted your cycles? Have you timed sex to when you are most fertile?
There is a lot more to getting pregnant than one thinks.
Some women get impatient and jump the gun and start harassing thier drs long before they need to. If you are under 35 you should be ttc for at least a year. Over 35 then 6 months of ttc before seeing your dr for testing.
