So I'm just curious...what my chances were getting pregnant this month. My periods are pretty consistent...the 19th or 20th of every month. Ovulation calculator says I have a 30 day cycle. My boyfriend and I had sex on Sept 1st...we used the withdrawal method. On Sept 6th we had sex but decided to not withdrawal. The calander indicates that my most fertile days were the 1st - 5th. Is the 6th completely out of the question? We've decided to not use any protection any more. If it happens then we'd be excited. But I'm afraid that my mind will play tricks on me. Are my chances good?

Hi Fadam,

Welcome to the boards. No, I don't think it would be completely out of the question that you might have got lucky this month, hope you did!!

Just a word about the online calculators, if you are planning to ttc from now, personally I wouldn't use them. They are just general and not based on you as a person and your fertility signs. I recommend the book "Taking charge of your fertility". I read that and I also use a digital ovulation predictor.
