Re: Could i be pregnant

Hi Marayani,

There's a chance for sure, so don't lose hope until you see AF...

A few things -

1) Do you have a sense for when you ovulated? Even though you had sex on 25th Oct, you could have ovulated a few days later... meaning that your test this morning could have been as early as ~14 DPO. In one study I read, 14 DPO was the average for detecting pregnancy with an at home kit - meaning some are earlier and some are later.

2) Check the sensitivity of the home pregnancy test you used - they vary in sensitivity anywhere from about 20 mIU - 100 mIU hCG depending on the brand.

3) From what I've read on other boards, some women report several negatives before getting their positive at 18 DPO or after...

You should wait a couple days then test again first thing in the morning.
Keep us posted on how it goes!

Re: Could i be pregnant

Hello, I went off the BC the last week of October. I had light spotting brown then to bright pinkish color for a few days that ended the end of the first week of November. I started Ovulating with that cervical mucus 2 weeks later. Ive had sex several times since October. Is there a chance I could be pregnant. Today is the 24 of November. How soon could I see signs of Pregnancy. I do have cramping everyday on and off which I know can mean alot of things. How soon should I test too. Should I wait also till my period

whenever you're soposed to have your next period, i would wait and test then. ulness you buy one of those expensive tests that tell you 5 days sooner. good luck and let us know

Re: Could i be pregnant

yes, your right, I should wait until then. That should come along next month. Actually I didnt have a period this month. After I missed those bc at the end of October then I had that light spotting. I didnt have that normal red period. We will c if December brings it. If not them, ooh it can be the exciting part. I will keep you informed here. So what do you think now?
