pregnant from antibiotics?? - Trying to Conceive (TTC) Message Board

I have had to take 2 different courses of antibiotics since december for bronchitis, I kept using my Yaz bcp since it was originally prescribed for PCOS, along with metformin. I didn't use any backup bc, and kind of have been having an upset stomach on and off for the last 2 weeks. I started an early period 6 days ago, it actually occurred just a week after I finished my last period. It started off bright red with discharge then continued into a dark brown color (sorry TMI). Is this implantation bleeding or just my body going wacko from all these pills???

I have always heard that antibiotics can make birth control pills not work. I also have PCOS and was told it would be difficult to get pregnant so I guess I wouldn't jump to that conclusion without getting tested. Just talk to your doctor. Hormones can do crazy things to your body, but theres no way to know for sure unless you get tests done.
