| fallopian tube removal
hi, after one year of trying to have a baby i had no luck but didnt think nothing of it as i already have an 8 year old son, i was also getting pains in my stomache during and after trying to concieve so i went to see my GP and was sent to the fertility clinic. after a few tests all coming back negative i was told i wld need further investigation via a hysteroscopy, laparoscopy and dye test in view of a poosible polyp.
The findings were both my fallopian tubes were damaged to the point of beyond repair due to a severe case of pelvic inflammatory disease. My only option was removal of both fallopian tubes then IVF to increase the likelihood of achieving a live birth.
I am 26 years old and have only been aware of my situation for the last 6 months, i will be going into hospital in 2 months time to have the procedure of removing both of my fallopian tubes i have never spoken to anybody who has gone thru IVF and have no idea of what the future holds for me regarding babies so i ask if any body has any help, experience or advise they could share with me i would be extremely gratefull.
thankyou for taking the time to read my story hope to hear from somebody soon x
