me and my husband are tryin for a baby andi have just recently finished a period 2 days ago, since then i have been getting this strange tuggin pain/sensation in my abdomen, which mainly happens when i twist bend or stretch. its a very strange feelin i have never felt beofre. i have googled all the syptoms and it all points to ealry pregnancy. i did a test today and it came back negative. my boobs are still sore and i was just wondering if anyone has had this or if it could be something to worry about.

Re: could i be pregnant???

If your period ended two days ago the chances of you being preg. (especially feeling preg.) are really low. YOu usually dont ovulate until about 14 to 16 days after your period starts..and then you wouldnt really have many sympthoms until four weeks after your period (and for the me the only ones I had was extra vaginal discharge, the sore boobs didnt start until the about 5 weeks after my period). And it is four weeks after your period starts that you can take a preg. test, before that it will almost always be negative.
If you want to get preg. your best bet is to research and find out when is your most "fertile" time, and then go from there. But usually two days after your period is way to early.
I hope it works out for you, the strange feeling could be gas or something; but if it stays you may want to see your doctor.

Re: could i be pregnant???

Some women have bleeding through part of or for the entire pregnancy. Are you sure your bleeding was your true period? If you still seem to have pregnancy symptoms then I would wait another week or so and do another home pregnancy test. It couldn't hurt. Maybe buy a multi-pack of tests and do one next week around the 12th and then another one the 19th?

Just a few suggestions..... good luck and update when you have any new information.
