2009 TWW - Part 3

Hi ladies
Elainee I just noticed you are going to try vitex. I can't tell you how happy I am with it!!!!! I went from 7 months of amenorrhea to picture perfect 28 day cycles. I take it twice a day, but started out taking it 3 times a day. Just FYI-it's super important to take it as soon as you wake up in the am with a glass of water only. Apparently having food in your stomach causes it to not work properly. Be sure to drink some water though, because the powder is nasty to burp up. Haha.
Smrose- sending you a big hug. Hang in there, we're all rooting for you

AF came right on time, so it's a fresh cycle for me. I will be ovulating while I am out of town away from my hubby (boo!) so it looks like March won't be my month. Here's rooting for April.

Baby dust!

Re: tww 2009 part 3

tcdb, thanks. i appreciate it. i broke down in the dr's office crying this morning. i ran out of meds last night so was hoping that my sono this morning would be a go and that i am fully developed. well, not the case. i am kind of stalled and they aren't getting any bigger. more bloodwork to check my hormone levels. i didn't have any more money to get more meds and was ready to call it quits. my dr said he has not "not" gotten anyone pg with ovaries like mine, it just takes time, money and medication. they gave me another round of meds free and he said we are at the end of the runway so didn't want to quit now. i am almost there but not quite. he hugged me and told me to go have a margarita and not to hit the panic button and freak out. so i take more shots and go back on Friday to see if i am there. i was worried i would start af next week but he said there is nothing going on in my uterus so i will not have an af next week. i guess the shots are stalling that so it buys us more time. i am just growing weary of taking shots everynight with no results. i am trying to come to terms that it might just not happen this month even after spending so much on medication and i might just have to give it a rest until i can save up more money and try again in june. i had my cry and i am now okay i think. good luck to all.

Re: 2009 TWW - Part 3

According to where I usually O , I should be starting my 2WW tomorrow. I have had the weirdest cycle this month I have ever had. Starting to get a little paranoid that I might be starting to be peri menopausal. My dr never did check my fsh level so maybe she'll consider doing that. I've just been hot hot hot the last two days and nauseous and tired and my bbs are killing me but like I said I should be , I didnt do an OPK this month, just temping , so I should be 1 dpo tomorrow according to past charts. I dont really count on being pg this month as the Dh and I have hardly bd'ed at all. He's been tired and working long hours ..I do have to say on the days that we did bd, I had the most spectacular ewcm. I haven't had that in a while. So there's a little part of me that is going to be hopeful. just a little part. but with all the other symptoms it really just feels like AF is coming earlier than expected. We'll see.

Good luck to you smrose. I'm sure you're very frustrated, just keep a positive outlook , I think thats all any of us can do.

TDCB, so you would recommend vitex? I haven't done a lot of research on it but I think at this point anything natural or well close would be a better option for me to try than clomid like my drs pushing for.
Guess we'll see what my round of tests says the next time I see her.

Well its late, its hotter than hades in my house and I am headed for bed.
Good night ladies.
and good luck and baby dust to you all

Re: 2009 TWW - Part 3

Thanks Lisek. i got reassuring news from the dr yesterday afternoon. they said normally with meds, your hormone levels have to be above 600 and have to have follicle size of at least 18mm to be ready to induce ovulation for the iui.for the past 2 weeks of taking shots my hormones have been 100-150 and even dropped at one point which he didn't understand. all of the sudden they have jumped to 600 and i am still at 13 or 14 on about 3 eggs so don't have that much further to go. they think that finally my body is responding to the higher dosage of meds and i am feeling hopeful that by tomorrow i will have developed further (hopefully) and be ready soon. Thanks for the support as this month of all i have really needed it the most. i was borderline becoming depressed and fighting it. good luck to all.

Re: 2009 TWW - Part 3

Oh. my god. i feel so sick. ive spent 2 days with awful toothache, and today there was a car infront of us, that stunk of petrol and i though i was going to throw up!since then all day ive felt like this, and its getting worse lol
on a good note, if it can be called that, the only times ive had toothache was when i was pg with my son, and a few days before i got my bfp with my daughter, so fingers crossed!! according to the charting software i use, one of them says in 6dpo and the other sayd 7dpo, i think im 7, and as i cant help myself i did a test this mornign which of course was bfn, but hopefully tomorrow will be different lol
lucii xx
