Why is my period 5 days early?

Hi everyone,

This month my period was due next Saturday. (I am very regular, as clockwork). I did lots of peesticks early this week and saw faint lines, but assume this was me testing too early and getting evaps, since they only showed up after the recommended time limit. Anyway, my period came yesterday (Tuesday) and is heavy, so it couldn't be implantation bleeding. Why could my cycle have changed like this?

Just because the bleeding was heavy doesn't mean it was your "period"... you definitely take another test or contact your ob/gyn.
