Hello All,

My husband and I are TTC#1. I went off of bc (ortho tri cyclen lo) in august (last 'period' on the pill was Aug 2). Since then, I have not had a period- and I feel fine- no cramps, nausea, etc. I went to the Dr recently about the amenorrhea, and she had some blood work done.

Test results as follows: estradiol: 25 pg/mL; HCG: <2 mIU/mL; LH: 10.2 mIU/mL; FSH: 7 mIU/mL; prolactin: 5.1 ng/mL; TSH: 1.76 mIU/mL.

The Dr says these are all 'normal' results, so I am confused and concerned about why I haven't had my period yet (3 months and counting...). Dr wants me to get an ultrasound next to check for cysts or other abnormalities.

Has anyone had any experience with this? How long did it take for your period to return to normal after birth control? Do these numbers look right for someone who is or is not ovulating??
