This past Monday as most of you know i had my first lost and a D&C at 6 weeks. still havent had a period, and was wonderrig if anyone has had this done how long it took before you got pregnant again??

Your doctor should have told you how long to wait because each one recommends different times. My friend had a mc at 5 wks and her dr told her to wait 2 months. I had a mc at 11 wks and I was told to wait 3 months. Your uterus needs time to heal and get back into its original shape and size before trying to get pregnant again. Continue on with your prenatal vitamins though if you do not already take them daily. This will just keep your body healthy.

I would say to wait a couple of months for things to go back to normal. But also, make sure that your emotionaly ready as well. You want to make sure that your not trying to replace the baby you lost, but that your ready for the new baby your going to create. Good luck!
