| IVF: 1st HCG 7. now up to 16???
Hey, Everyone! I was hoping someone could share if they've had HCG start out this low and go on to become viable pregnancy?
We had our second fresh IVF transfer on 8/26/10; 3 embies were transferred on Day 2. My first HCG level 2 days ago was only 7 and the doctor clearly expressed we had implantation, but it was likely not viable. He advised the level would probably go down or go completely away in 2-3 days.
Well, it went up to 16 today (2 days later). The RE still feels from their experience it is very unusual for a HCG level that started out so low continue to rise, even if it rose today. They didn't want to give me false hope, but I'm filled with hope and faith in God!! I know they have medical expertise and knowledge beyond my comprehension, but I can still believe in a miracle from God.
Has this ever happened to anyone else?....have a HCG level start out so low, but go on to have a healthy baby?!!!!!?
