| Trying to conceive with uterine/ cervical bleeding
My story is quite in depth but I will be as brief as possible!
I have been bleeding between periods for nearly 2 years. Most of the time I was on the pill. It started when I met my new partner who has HSV2 and I thought I might have it too. I have never had any symptoms of the virus and he is on medication. My doctor said this wasn't a concern to my bleeding.
My gyno said it is abnormal uterine bleeding and a cervical erosion or 'raw cervix' and I might find it difficult to conceive. He offered a IUD to be put in but my partner and I decided to try and conceive. I went off the pill and have been trying for 4 months. No luck yet.
I bleed unpredictably during the month (light bleeding for about 4-5 days like a 'mini period') but always have a normal period on time. I find if I have breakthrough bleeding, and have sex right after it stops, the bleeding starts again right after sex. It's very frustrating as it limits the days in the month when we can try.
Whenever I'm not bleeding we have sex but sometimes I bleed during ovulation.
Does anyone have a similar problem or suggestions to help us conceive?
