Split urine stream/spraying, 36 y/o female - please help!

Hi,

I've been having issues with urination for about 2-3 months. I thought this would go away, but it hasn't. My urine stream seems to be split and sprays in multiple directions. Usually, it goes forward and sprays under the rim of the toilet seat. Sometimes it will hit my inner thigh (usually to the left). It's annoying and gross, but I'm also starting to worry.

I have tried to research this and can't find any sort of answer that might apply to me. I'm not nearing menopause as far as I know and I'm only 36. I have never had any sort of problem with kidney stones, infections, etc. I've never had any sort surgery in or trauma to that area. I practice safe sex and have been tested for STIs fairly recently. I don't have any issues with weak kegel muscles.

I urinate frequently, but I always have. I've never had problems with incontinence, though there was one time about 4-5 weeks ago that I noticed some leakage. It was an isolated incident during exercise, but it did happen. There is absolutely no pain and no bleeding or anything like that. My urine color seems to be normal and it doesn't look cloudy.

One thing I have noticed recently - which probably isn't related, but worth mentioning I guess - is that I've had trouble orgasming on my own for about the same amount of time. I don't have trouble with a partner and I can't see how it's related, but it's the only other thing I can think of that halfway involves that general area of my body.

The only thing I can think of is maybe some sort of growth causing an issue, but I don't even see this listed as a symptom for urethral cancer. I don't have insurance, but I would be willing to see a doctor. However, I'd like to have an idea of possibilities beyond what I've seen since I can't afford many visits and would like any tests to be specific. Also, would it be ok to visit a gynecologist or should I make a first appointment with a urologist? The reason I ask is that a gyn at a local clinic would be much cheaper, but I won't bother if it will likely be a waste of time.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and respond.
