I have had frequent bladder infections for years. This last year I would be sure I had one starting, yet the lab tests would show nothing. Other times they would show blood in my urine when I felt fine. Finally, after many tests, the doctors believe my problem is caused by my bowel being too long and actually pushin into my bladder as waste material moves through it. (Like poking gyour finger into a balloon.) They think the mass then bounces up and down and causes all the inflammation at the mouth of the bladder (which they saw). Has anyone else heard of this? The doctors were surprised. The surgery to reduce the bowel is major, so I want to proceed with great caution.
