Question Having what feels like tremors/spasms

Hi there. I have been reading the boards for a while now and find all of your suggestions very helpful. My problem started about two months ago. I felt the need to urinate a lot more than usual and I began having a tremor/spasm in my groin on the left side. It about drove me crazy! I went to my doc and she took a urine sample. No UTI but very concentrated urine. She had no answer as to why I was having the tremor. But, it just so happened at the time that I had a hemmorhoid. She contributed the spasm to that. Anyway, the hemmorhoid is gone but the spasms have gotten worse. I now have them in my lower abdomen (bladder region) and my groin and rectal areas. I am still urinating more than usual. Today I feel the need to go right after I have just gone. No pain when I urinate. The spasms are not painful only annoying. I am also having the chills peridically down the backs of my legs. I'm not sure if this is even related. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be happening with me? I have an appointment with my doc on Thursday. I would greatly appreciate anyones thoughts on this. Thank you.

Hi - I hope this isn't a silly question, but how do you know it's a spasm? Do you actually feel it spasming, or is it just pain you feel?

This sounds very much like it is related to the spinal nerves, especially when you state the situation with the chills down the back of your legs. I suggest you get a referral to a neurologist and see if they can put you in an MRI or CT Scan to see if there is anything pressing on or impedding the spinal nerves and/or the spinal cord. I would try to do it as soon as humanly possible, because once the nerves to your bladder are damaged by spinal problems, they do not always recover. Find out what is causing this ASAP.
