I know someone who's urine is almost as clear as water, should he be concerned?

Oh my goodness, no. The clearer the urine, the more diluted it is, which means he's getting the correct amount of fluids and water every day. When your urine is very dark in color, or golden, that means you're not getting enough fluids in you. You want to dilute your urine as much as possible as that shows you're drinking the correct amount every day.

Do note, though, that vitamins can change the color of your urine, such as stresstabs. They can make your urine a dark gold.

You're very welcome. Maybe you could find out what your friend is doing to keep his urine so clear and share it with the rest of us? :> )

I would say he's drinking a lot of water. When your urine is clear you know that your body has gotten the right amount. I drink loads of water a day and by mid-afternoon my urine is clear. That's the way it's supposed to be. When it's yellow that means there's a lot of impurities and they need to be flushed out.
