Unhappy blood found in 2 different urinalysis

I am a 35 yr female non smoker. Last week I went for my yearly gyn check-up. My Dr found blood in my urine sample. He said that there was quite alot of blood. None visable to the naked eye. He said that it wasn't due to an infection. He referred me to my pcp. Today at the pcp there was still blood in my urine. The Dr said that there was no protein and he did't think it was kidney stones. Tomorrow I am meeting with a urologist. I am so frightened that I have cancer. Please pray for me! I have 3 kids 7,5 and 2. I just want to see them grow up. C

I will pray for you. But don't panic just yet. It could be alot of different things besides cancer. Let us know how the doctor visit goes tomorrow....

Please don't worry until the doctor sees you. I had a friend a few years ago who had same symptoms as you, blood in the urine, and quite a bit of it. No infection, she felt fine. It was her gyn who found it, like you. She then went to her GP who also saw the blood, found nothing else wrong, referred her to a urologist. He too saw blood in her urine, did some tests, and found absolutely nothing wrong with her. To this day, they have no idea why the blood was there or where it came from. So please don't worry until you know what is wrong. And please let us know how it turns out and what he finds, if anything, ok? Take care.
