Weird thing. HELP! - Urology Message Board

Ok I have this weird red thing protruding about 1/8 th of an inch from my urethra. It has been bleeding and itching. It looks like a hemmorrid but it is coming straight out of the hole. I have had no pain with it, just itching but I do have frequent lower back aches. Oh and I got this thing right after two things happened. 1. (ok im not trying to be nasty) my husband and I used a french tickler on our anniversary weekend. 2. The doctor changed my Adderall (which makes me thirsty alot) from two 10xrs to one 20xr.
Does anyone know what it could be, what might have caused it and how to make it go away.

Did you ever find out about your problem? Have you ruled out urethral diverticulum?

Here is some info I found on the web about that:

A urethral diverticulum can be described as an outpouching of tissue from the urethra into the urethrovaginal potential space. The lining of the diverticulum most commonly is identical to the urethral mucosa. Most urethral diverticula are believed to be derived from dilated paraurethral ducts or glands.

sounds like a urethral prolapse to me
