Did your doctor tell you anything else, like how he/she intends to cure your problem?

OK, I went back and read your other post and noticed you are on antibiotics.
Congestion? Redness on the tip? Would this be called a "head cold"
Seriously, what is prostate congestion. I have not heard it called prostrate congestion before. It could very well be, I just don't know what it is called. Is it congested because you refrained from masterbation for a period of time? I mean the old blue ball syndrome.
From the posts I've read so far that address this similar problem, I haven't read where any doctor has been able to nail the exact cause/problem and how to deal/cure it effectively in a short period of time. Or it could be, the posters fail to mention how long it took for the doctor to treat the problem. It is very easy to call it a bacterial infection and that may be what it is but I haven't read how anyone else eventually gotten rid of it. I am saying this because I had something very similar and it takes a while to get rid off. I am talking about the redness on the tip. The cloudy, yellow discharge and other symptoms were taken care of by antibiotics in about 2 to 3 weeks for me.
The redness on the tip took about three to four months to get rid off but I wasn't taking antibiotics for it then. Towards the end of this period I developed a bladder/prostate infection and called to set up an appointment to see a urologist. They set me up an appointment 8 weeks down the road. Well, that wasn't going to cut it for me, so I took a quick 15-20 minute drive across the border into Mexico and bought 100 caps of 500 mg of the antibiotic "Ampicilin" (5 bucks) and 2 to 3 weeks later I was back to normal. Everything was gone including the redness on the tip. "ALL disclaimers apply" since I am not a doctor and I don't play one on TV, but I do like to play doctor.
I have to be honest and say that I still have very mild symptoms of my prostate problem or it seems like it, but nothing anywhere close to what it was originally. Maybe it is just psychological because I am able to function as normal as I did before all this occured.
Hope you guys feel better soon.
By the way, I am fast approaching 50 years of age so I just admit to it now, to make it easier to bear it when reality hits.
