What does healthy normal urine look like???

I usually have things in my urine floating around. Because I have to wear a pad all the time due to a injury for urine leaking. I see many ,what looks like small fibers floating in it. Maybe from the pad, I do not know. Does normal urine ever have floaties in it? Or, is it nice and clear. I understand it should be a nice pale yellow.

A normal urine is a pale yellow color if you drink enough fluids. The urine should be clear and no fibers floating in it.

According to my Tabers ( its a medical dictionary) it sounds like mucus in your urine and it is common and doesnt mean anything. I work in a nursing home and freq. see urine in catheter bags with mucus and the Drs. do not treat this as abnormal.

I was only apeaking of fresh, uninfected urine. Urine turns cloudy the longer it sits. I have examined many urines microscopically and mucus doean't look like fibers. Either way it doesn't mean anything.
