Question Vasectomy & vas deferens reconnecting (m)

My husband had a vasectomy 6 months ago (they cauterized & sewed the ends shut.) When he went in for his sperm analysis 3 months later, they found 2 sperm. Then a month after that (4 mo. after surgery) there was 1 sperm. His vas deferens are connected. Where they were cut there is now a lump & the two ends are now connected by this lump. This is the same on both the left and the right. I know he needs to take in another sample to see if he is clear now or if there are still some swimmers there. My question is...is it normal for the vas to reconnect & if so, what are the chances of there being any sperm present?

Thanks in advance.

I have the same lump you are talking about. I have a visit with my urologist next week to see what it is. I think it is tissue they put in to keep the ends from reconnecting, but I am not sure. Does anyone know?

When a guy has a vasectomy, he needs to have regular (once a year) checkups to see if maybe the procedure did not reverse by itself.
It happens sometimes.

The lunp is normal, that is the area the cuts were made, it goes down with time but is always there.

My husband has no lumps that I have noticed, he has his procedure in jan of this year and his sperm count was going down but jumped up to 95% on his last test. This is crazy and I don't understand it. The procedure took hours and cost quite a bit of cash. It is really fustrating. I just had a tubal just in case. We have four children already and have been married for 17 years now, my pregnecys are not plesant for any of us. Has any one had this happen to them.
