Hello, and thanks for taking the time to read my post!
I got dx with kidney stone (2mm) last monday, started lasix water pills on tuesday, think i may have passed the stone on sunday. I originally saw a nurse practitioner who was on vacation the week they got the ct results (last week). So the dr she works with prescribed the lasix. She was back this week. Her nurse calls today and says she (the nurse practitioner) wants me to see a urologist. Why? They acted very nonchalant about the stone in the first place - saying it was very small, just take the meds, don't worry about trying to strain it (i asked them about this, they never brought it up). Is this just standard procedure? If they had seen something else on the scan wouldn't they have already told me? I'm starting to think the lot of them is a little flakey

.
Thanks for your help,
Sidnee
