Urinary incontinence simply means not having complete control over the release of urine. There are various types, and whether or not a person would feel an actual urge to urinate prior to leaking would depend on which type of incontinence they had. With all types that I'm aware of, once an episode of leakage begins, you
know it's happening, unless there is some condition that prevents having normal sensations in that area.
I have mild to moderate stress incontinence, and I am planning to have a surgical procedure soon that will hopefully correct it. Any time I have leakage, I can
feel it happening. Also, there is always dampness afterwards, and that dampness is nowhere near my butt crack.
