so i have this stomach bug/flu or whatever its called (i think thats what it is) and I don't think I need to remind you what goes along with this type of ailment. so i'll just get to what is worrying me. My urine has been a dark gold color. I can only describe it as a bar of gold that has been darkened one or two shades. Anyways, could this be because I have lost so much essential nutrients etc... and haven't been able to drink much/ eat much?
Yes, dark urine is concentrated urine and is caused by being dehydrated. You should try to increase fluid intake by eating ice chips, jello , soups in any amount that you can safely handle. Try to sip water , juices throughout the day.
