Hi 2wks Ago Started Coming Down With Water Infection, Couoldnt Stop Weeing All The Time And Lots Of Pain But No Burning When Weeing. Went To Gp Who Gave Me Some Antibiotics, If Anything Pain Got Worse,thought Might Have To Go To Hospital.managed To Get Some Different Antibiotics They Eased The Pain But A Week Later Ive Still Got It.went Back To Gp Again So Am On Different Antibiotics The 3rd Lot! Cant Understand Why Cant Seem To Get Rid Of It Am Still In Pain And Feeling Rough Can Anyone Offer Me Any Help Or Advice?? Ps Have Got Mirena Coil But Gp Thinks Nothing To Do With It Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

drink pure cranberry juice and crush pure garlic 4 cloves a day. i am not a doctor ,but the antibiotic approach seems not to be working for you and over use can cause more problems.

My urologist just told me that they've discovered that drinking cranberry juice can actually irritate your bladder even more, although I know a lot of people swear by it.

Drink tons of water when you have a UTI. My doctor recommended drinking AT LEAST a gallon of water a day.

My mom and I suffered from UTI's for a long time. It once took my mom 5 rounds of antibiotics to kick her bladder infection. Do not give up. Keep going back to the doctor if it's not cleared up so it doesn't lead into a kidney infection. Be sure you are not skipping any of your antibiotics and taking them exactly as prescribed.

Alcohol can reduce the effectiveness of the antibiotics too. I self cath for dialation purposes so you can imagine how often I get them! The cranberry juice (for most people) will contribute to if not cause the burning while urinating. Haileysheets is correct, water, water, water. I know, what goes in must come out..... Not fun. Clean catch culture been done??? that should narrow it down to what is growing and how to smack it out. Hope you well.
