These few years I feel myself urinating a lot. I need to wake up and go to the restroom 2-3 times at night. Does this mean I have a weak bladder or a bad kidney? Should I be concerned?
I have this problem too. When I first went to the urologist, they found a urethral diverticlum. I had it surgically removed but the frequency persisted. I was in the bathroom 23 - 28 times a day and 6-7 times a night. It was very disruptive. I went back to the urologist and I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis. I take 50 mg of amitriptyiline nightly and I am down to about 16 times a day and 0 to 2 time nightly. It was great finely getting a full night's sleep. See a urologist as you may have Interstitial Cystitis or an overactive bladder both conditions are treatable!
I have all those symptoms, too. My urologist said my uterus is pushing on my bladder and the only solution is a hysterectomy. So, from everyone's experiences, it could be any number of things. Hope you can get your insurance soon and see a specialist.
Has anyone looked into bladder infections being the cause of frequent urination? Those are EXACTLY my symptoms when I get an infection. Just a thought.
