low density lesion

I have been seeing a gastroenterogist for my chronic diarrhea. He order a abdomen ct scan last week, everything on his end is fine but they found a (2.2cm low density lesion in mid pole of the right kidney. it contains enhancing internal structure that is worrisome for malignancy). < the report reads.
Just saw a urologist whom didn't seem concern but order a mri.
Yikes everything has happened so fast.
Any insight?

Re: low density lesion

probably just a begnin complex cyst, but its just very worrisome. You should just relax, get your mri, and things will be ok. If worse comes to worse, they will have to remove the lesion. From what I hear removing a kidney lesion is a minimaly invasive surgury, and is pretty easy. You will probably never have to go through all that though. Good luck.
