| Cramp in my prostate when I sneeze
Hi Folks,
I am a 35 year old male and, since I was around 15, I can always remember that right after I sneeze [really hard], I get a mild cramp in my prostate which quickly disappears by massaging the perineum area for about 2-3 seconds.
I am in good health and work out everyday. I'm not overweight, height 6'2 at 210lbs.
This only happens when I sneeze, and during no other activity at all.
I have carefully check many websites for prostate disease symptoms and have not found this issue described. I have looked up all the types of prostate problems: Temporary stress incontinence, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, prostate cancer. I don't have any of these disease symptoms.
I have had this minor cramping issue for many years and can't find almost anything about it online, except for one or two user-posts scattered throughout the internet.
I visit my General Physical about once every 2 years and the DOC always checks my prostate while I cough since I was a kid.
Everyone here says to check with a urologist, and I will, but it just seems odd that no one seems to discuss this exact issue.
I am hoping someone can answer "Yes, I have also had this sensation since childhood and you are simply putting stress on your prostate when you cough, which causes this temporary cramping"
Thanks,
F.
