I have had lowerback pain on both sides of my back for months. A few weeks ago, it got so bad, that to get out of bed, I had to roll on my side. Sitting straight up was too much strain. Ouch! Since probably summer time, I seem to have trouble urinating in the middle of the night. A very weak stream. But when I am up during the day, i don't seem to have that problem. Only seems to be from laying down at night. I am wondering if there is something with the lower back pain & urinating problems. Kidney stones?? I have no medical insurance, so I am avoiding a doctor visit. I had Lyme disease about a year ago, and that is about when my lower back started getting bad. I don't think it ever recovered, but it may not be from the Lyme. I was on Prednisone for a couple weeks with the Lyme, and my back felt great then, but is horrible now. I wish I had more Prednisone. I just keep wondering if there is a stone problem causing the lower back pain
