As seniors, long married, we have a good intimate relationship. Lately, more and more, he cannot ejaculate--so it's very tiring and frustrating for him trying. No--he doesn't have 'wet dreams or masturbate', so it's not happening 'at all'! He has trouble maintaining an erection for long, though he does get one. Lately he has 'urgent' trips to the bathroom, and has had freqent trips for an even longer time. He's been told he has an enlarged prostate and was on medication for that awhile, but it doesn't help. He takes meds for his heart---had bypass surgery many years ago.
He does plan on seeing a urologist in the future but wonders if anyone here has this problem and what could be causing the inability to reach climax?
Are any meds safe for this condition, considering all the other meds he takes and his heart condition? He doesn't take nitroglycerin---though he carries it 'in case'. Just has never needed it. He's in good physical condition--except is a few pounds overweight, all in the stomach area. thanks for input.
