Help

Alright heres the deal im a 24yo Male ... Im having abdomen pain with urinating problems.

Anyway 4 months ago I got a sharp pain in my left side and I was diagnosed with a hernia, which last week after a CT scan I found out I was misdiagnosed
The CT scan said everything looks normal so they did lab work and blood tests which all came back normal.

Well within the last week the pain has became worse (thats why i got CT scan) and is now in my back side it feels like my kidneys are sore and ive been urinating nonstop which could be from the CIPRO ive heard.
I would like to state my symptoms for anyone that can lead me in the right direction cause this pain is killing me and I want to get off pain killers but I cant until after this pain is gone.

Symptoms:
trouble pushing pee out
tingling in my penis after urinating
kidneys are sore
testicles are sore
bad breath
fatigue
smelly urine
lack of hunger.. lost about 10 pounds since june.

I really would like to know whats going on inside my body...
And since Ive had a CT scan, Blood work, and Urinalysis and they didnt find what was causing the pain.

what does that narrow it down too???

something they would have to culture for???

Any help would be greatly honored.

Re: Help

Well, I suppose it could be a lot of things but I do have an idea that might be worth checking out. It comes under the general heading of "vasculitus" which is characterized by inflammation. Inflamation could be anywhere in the body but when it affects the kidneys it's called "Granulomatosis". It's known to be very painful and doesn't show up on most tests. They would have to do some sort of biopsy.

Before going through that, you might try an anti-inflamation diet. There's a book for this: The Anti-Inflammation Diet. I suppose there are other books but this is one I happen to know about. Any book on inflammation should be helpful.

Re: Help

I forgot to mention that there is a blood test that will tell you if you have inflamation in your body. It just won't tell you where the inflammation is located. This test is called: "C-Reactive protein" It can tell you if your level of inflammation is high or low. If it's high, then you might suspect that your problem could be caused by inflammation.
