Red face Blood & Clots in Urine

I have urinary urgency & frequency & no pain, and recently notice blood clots in urine every time. My urology consult & cystoscopy (1st appt) is scheduled on 2/16 and there are NO sooner appts. Is this something I need to go to the ER for? Just don't know how "Serious" this is... I'm waiting a call back from my primary dr., but any advice is appreciated!!!!!! TIA

Re: Blood & Clots in Urine

Clots in your urine are NOT normal.

Personally I would go to the hospital and not wait until mid Feb.

Good luck, let us know how you get on.

Re: Blood & Clots in Urine

SPORT 46,

Some hospitals offer a service called "Ask A Nurse" which can be helpful. If they don't know, they will look it up and try to get an answer for you.

I wonder if you are taking any medications or anything like aspirin. Are you being treated for any medical condition? Is there anything unusual about your diet? Do you smoke or drink adult beverages?
