| Constant need to urinate, no infection, pain
So for a while now I've had to urinate very frequently. In fact I tend to not drink enough water because being well hydrated will put me in the bathroom every 15-20 minutes. It is getting worse and I now need to get up 3-4 times a night to urinate. I also notice a really hard time getting started when I urinate. It's like I have to just sit there waiting and straining before I can finally go and then it usually is very little at all. If I try to "hold it" my bladder becomes very painful and I come close to having an accident and even then there usually isn't much urine that comes out.
I've had a couple Urinalysis and no infections of any sort. Someone mentioned maybe I should be checked for Interstitial Cystitis. I don't know much about it, but after reading about it some, the symptoms seem to fit. Does anyone here have experience with this?
Do my symptoms seem to fit? How is this diagnosed and what treatments work best?
