I have a good news for you all suffering from Urethral stricture problem.
Even I was facing the same problem. It started from the day when I was operated for kidney stone in the year 2004. While performing the Ureteroscopy my urine track was injured and since then there was a frequent stricture formation in the Urine track. I had been through forceful dilation twice and operated once. But I got an alternative in Ayurvedic treatment. In 2009 I met an Ayurvedic doctor and discussed my problem with him. He advised me for a treatment called "uttarbast". A non-invasive procedure wherein a medicated oil is pushed in through the Urine track. I had 10 to 15 sittings and my problem is cured permanently.
I thought I could be of help to you all by informing this alternative.
@amitshirodkar77 Tell me more about this. I have been dealing with a urethra stricture for 7 years. I have tried dilations, internal urechtomy, and homeopathic medicines. None of those worked for me. Recently I had a urethroplasty surgery where they cut out the scarred segment of the urethra and stitched together the two ends of the urethra that were not scarred. The percentages are high that I will be cured, but for some reason I am not at all convinced even with a very good urine flow now. So tell me how you found out about the Ayurvedic treatment. The only doubts I would have about this treatment you proclaimed is that wouldn't this show up more on the internet for urethra stricture cure if it was considered a viable alternative. I'm not saying it's not something I wouldn't give a chance, but is it worth the investment so that I will be cured forever, because I don't think I'll ever be free from doubts.
I was in a same state of mind before getting Ayurvedic treatment. My urologist suggested me to undergo a surgery wherein a layer of skin from my mouth will be replaced to the scar area of the Urine track. I was not convinced with this solution.
As an ******, I had a strong belief on Ayurveda from childhood. I started consulting ayurvedic doctors in Mumbai. One of my business friend refered to a doctor named Dr. Prashant Sawant.
I would say he is one of the best doctors in Mumbai.
But you can consult any Ayurvedic doctor in your area.
let me know you e-mail id ...I'll share some more details with you.

I had that six years ago - urethroplasty using buccal muosal graft - and doing well so far.
So don't rule that out. Expert urethroplasty, with tissue substitution if necessary, is well established in the medical literature as the most effective surgical treatment for the long term.
Hi, i had a urethra stricture for 6 years and my doctor did a dialation four months ago and just got off self catherization in the beginning of this month. I never felt better; however, it seems like it might be comming back slowly. The performance is way better then it was but not as good as a month ago. What are the ways of it comming back? too much sex, etc.? Looking forward to some help, thanks

It's the nature of the disease.

Repeated dilatation won't cure the condition. Expert urethroplasty has far higher long-term success rates. Most urologists are not expert in those procedures, so seek a specialist referral if considering that option.
