I have something similar....For 4 weeks I have had an increasing pain/pressure in my flank (like a baseball has been put under my lower right ribs). I have had a 2 ultrasounds, 5 urine tests, 2 blood tests, a colonoscopy and am scheduled for CAT Scan in 4 weeks. My ultrasounds of my ovaries, kidney, liver, gallbladder etc. both came back normal. My colonoscopy showed only small internal hemorrhoids. Not running a temperature.

The pain/pressure is constant 24hr and becomes worse between 2-4 am at night. I haven't slept through the night for weeks now and occasionally get night sweats. This symptom made me think I might have a duodenal ulcer - I started to take Zantac 150 twice a day. The churning in my stomach has been reduced but the flank pain/pressure continues (just right of my spine and deep inside on on the outer URQ).

My latest blood work just came back showing a UTI after having 5 samples taken in the last 2 weeks. Sometimes my urine has blood in it then next time Dr tests it does not. I am now on Macrobid twice a day. Odd thing is I have no burning urine or need to go. I am now drinking lots of cranberry juice. Three days on Macrobid I am getting only minor flank pain relief.

Like you, I am looking for any suggestions on what it could be?
