Can extra strength Tylenol cause urinary retention?

I've been taking coumadin since May and the doctor said the only pain reliever I can use is Tylenol(the one that is pure acetaminophen, not with codeine, diphenhydramine, etc...). I've been taking two, 500mg extra strength gels as needed. I never take more than the recommended daily dose. Didn't have any trouble until recently, now it seems any amount causes urinary retention. Once it wears off the flood gates open. I got checked out and no cause for this was found. Is it my imagination or is it the Tylenol?
