| Urethral pain 3 weeks post surgery
I had a kidney stone blasted with ureteroscopy with laser, some others broken on on the other side with ESWL, and a previously unknown stricture dilated on Sept 4. I came out with a catheter and a stent. The cath was removed 2 days later, and the stent a day after that. (OW OW OW to both). 3 weeks post surgery, I am still having quite a bit of burning on urination, and sharp pains in the urethra whenever i get up, sit down, move the wrong way, touch the penis in certain spots, dirve, or other random times. My Dr. says it is unusual to have it hurt this long, but not unheard of and to give it time....he thinks the pain is from all the stuff in there. Anyone else have pain like this 3 weeks after such procedures?? thanks!
