Please Help - prostate

I am 46 and have had an inflamed prostate for over a year, my perinium is sore, not real painful, just some soreness and it causes frequent urination and a weak stream. Have been taking uroxatral but not really helping. My Uro juat gave me a cytoscopy and said everything was fine, my urethra had a nice opening, bladder was fine, and no stricture but he did say my prostate was " a little red"
.
I was on uroxatral during the procedure and wondering if this artificially opened my bladder? He never told me to stop taking it for the cyto. No antibiotics work and he says it should burn itself out. I just cant take it anymore, i just want to spend a normal day without thinking about urinating.

lexer, of course you need medical advise which I cannot give as I am not a doctor. What is your general health status? Have you a good diet? Why not discussing with your doctor some basic inflammation tests (e.g. hsCRP) and supplementation. I have prostate issues and try to keep CRP as low as possible and take supplements as curcumin, Zyflamend, the Life Extension Foundation prostate protection formula, holy basil and others.

***,your doctor will said it will burn itself out?! You have had it for over a year already. You should do what Albedo said and get a good prostate formula supplement and do this.......stop ejaculating until symptoms subside and a little cardio exercise wonders to circulate the toxins out of the prostate.......hope you feel better soon....
